Joe Martin is a Client Services Associate in our Texas location who brings a diverse background in finance, education, and client support to his role. Born and raised in the suburbs of Houston, Joe earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Houston–Clear Lake, along with a minor in Education.
Prior to joining the financial services industry, Joe gained experience as both a tax preparer and a high school mathematics teacher, developing strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. He also briefly enlisted in the United States Coast Guard before receiving a medical disqualification during boot camp.
Joe is committed to continued professional growth and plans to pursue both the Enrolled Agent (EA) and Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designations after obtaining his industry licenses.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys playing basketball, lifting weights, reading, and spending time walking his dog. He also has a strong interest in real estate and architecture.
